Raindrops on roses...
December 27th 2006 22:36
It`s raining Queensland, waheeey!
The smell carried to your nostrils on the fresh breeze.
The sound of the drops falling on the roof.
The pictures reflected in the millions of rain drops.
The dry ground drinking thirstily.
The smell carried to your nostrils on the fresh breeze.
The sound of the drops falling on the roof.
The pictures reflected in the millions of rain drops.
The dry ground drinking thirstily.

Thank you for your poetic words, they only add to the richness of the fresh new colours as they come alive after their drinking.
Superb!

Don`t you just love the rain? And the smell of the rain? That`s something I really miss from home - there was such a distinct smell before and after a downpour.
Thanks for stopping by

Yes I started the party this morning over at Flashes of Memories. Please do feel free to pop over, you will find me pinning a few inspiring words to Lily. I am the ear - you won`t miss us! This party is going all through the weekend until New Years so do feel free to pop in and out as you so choose. Also, help yourself to the Pina Colada`s. I am having some red wine tonight if you would prefer some of that.

! hhhhhmmmmm White shiraz is sounding good, although I already started to my Merlot - it would be bad for me to mix them (more for my head actually!). Don`t worry there are a few more days of festivites ahead.
A rainbow sounds lovely, perfect for this weather we are having. Your Leprechaun is most welcome to come too, his pot of gold will be safe, we are all friends here
Look forward to seeing you around.

This Post should have nothing more than the title.
The title says everything ..
I don't give out accolades often ... Ask anyone on Orble.
But, to me, everything is contained in the title ...
Everything else is superfluous ....
Raindrops on Roses?
That says it all ...
The images ... the visuals in that ?
Please... when you write something that beautiful again...
Don't write another word ...
Please let me just contemplate the depth and beauty of simplicity ...
Please ..
I'll beg if I have to ...
I've done it all my life ...
No pictures or graphics are necessary when you can paint pictures like that with words ...
Superfluous ...
Brilliant!
Sublime poetry.

I ...am...a ...little...scared...to....answer. Allow me to take you to the start..
I awoke to the glorious sounds of the rain. I made my cup of coffee and sat down at the computer and could not resist going outside to take some photos.
I took them and came inside to transfer them to the computer...without even feeding the ducks (it`s something I do every morning!)
I love 'The Sound of Music' and the title just seemed so apt.
I felt a little guilty stealing it without adding a little to make it my own. It caught your eye and I am glad you liked it....approved of it...and rewarded it...
please do feel free to stop by again. It is always a pleasure to share my secret finds with others

Me?
Changed man.
Got rid of my former identity.
All LOVE now.
All soft and gooey and loving now.
Dusked. Not dusted. Yet. Still working on it. K.L'd (Not K.O'd).
All LOVE.
200% Love. That's me.
Well, okay. My former identity was [deleted]. Out of control. Rampant. They did the right thing Orble.
Found LOVE.
Who needs an identity.
I lost myself.
When I found LOVE.
I swim in LOVE now. 24/7.
I'll go to Bejing the way I'm going. Such a good swimmer already.
I retrieved my former identity from the virtual trash can. I pour it all out on her page. Not Orble's. All in private. In private I can be as sick as.
And I am. Believe me. Sick.
Ask anyone. But ask me first.
I know me better than anyone knows me (except for one woman. She knows me better than I know myself. She's teaching me about me. I'm a good student now. I listen. No more preaching. No more Amens. These are the days of LOVE and lust and laughter and tears ...
on a mountaintop of love ...
Down in the valley ...
Music ...
Beautiful music ...
She can handle it.
She can handle me.
The mountaintop?
It's a cliff.
We push each other over the edge ...
Beyond the limits of our selves ...
Both lost forever ...
In each other ...
Changed man.
Like Morgan Freeman's character in Stephen King's Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption.
"I can certainly say I'm a changed man. Yes Sir. Yes Sir-ee." - Shawshank Redemption.
Redemption?
Me redeemed?
Not possible. Surely.
Nothing is impossible with [Deity's name deleted]. Not allowed.
No longer scary.
Not even to myself.
Not to others.
Changed man.
In public anyway.
What I get up to in private?
[delete] [delete] [delete]
I dont have ducks. Chooks.
Men have chooks. Real men? Chooks.
Women have ducks. Real women? Ducks.
Nice to hear that you are looking after yours.
Feeding them.
I always feed my chooks.
I love nature.
Human nature.
Male nature.
Female nature, most of all.
Changed man.
On the outside anyway.
So in LOVE ...
Can't stop writing ...
She'll see this.
She'll wonder why I'm telling you all this.
I can't help it ...
I want to shout it from the rooftops ...
Paste her name all over the place [without telling anyone who she is. Adelaide girl. Born and Bred.]
The sfuff I write on Orble?
All for her.
Just make up names. Pretend it's someone on Orble. Just to keep the girls/women on Orble happy ...
Me? Pretender. False. No honesty.
Ask anyone on Orble.
Why on earth do they believe anything I write?
If I'm so dishonest?
Got me stumped.
Too in LOVE to bother anymore ...
Changed man, Sir. Yes Sir-reeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaal
love.
Not pretend.
Real.
Sorry about this.
Couldn't help it.
Love does this to me.
It sends me insane. Or more insane that I already was.
Hope I don't go certifiably mad like that [delete] who was [deleted] ...

Yes l'amour is a wonderful, wonderful thing - it could change the world if it was spread around like the hatred that rages on is. I am glad that you have found it.
*Cheers* congrats to being a changed man, may your spots remain so forever!
